Time to tap into your mindset.

At Adam Clark Fitness, we believe that to achieve your full potential you need to be strong both physically AND mentally. For Wellness Wednesday this week, Noah and I took a deep dive into this very topic so be sure to check it out!

When it comes to mindset, you might be thinking oh it’s just a bunch of “rah-rah” made-up BS.

It couldn’t be further from the truth.

If you want to get better every single day in any area of your life, it’s time to adopt a growth mindset.

According to world-renowned psychologist Carol Dweck, you are either a fixed mindset or a growth mindset.

A fixed mindset is one that everything stays static. Your performance, intelligence, and creativity all stay the same. You are what you are and that’s it.

A growth mindset is one that has flexibility. There is no ceiling on potential. We can grow, get better, achieve more and the sky is truly the limit.

If you have a fixed mindset, you are going to struggle. You are always going to doubt yourself, you are going to put a cap on your abilities and are going to quit when the going gets tough. If you are looking to lose weight and transform your life, a fixed mindset isn’t going to work.

With a growth mindset, you are always looking for progress, looking to get better and achieve great things. With this type of mindset, you do not put a cap on yourself and can truly achieve your physical transformation.

So what will it be for you?
