Over the past four days, I had the privilege of hanging around some of the best fitness professionals in the world at the IDEA World Convention. I met some new friends on opposite ends of the country who have similar challenges and experiences as me. I met some dynamite presenters who are industry leaders and set the standard that I am looking to achieve.
Most importantly, this past week just reaffirmed what my purpose is.
Your purpose is the reason you wake up every day. It’s what drives you. Your purpose is the difference between a job and a career.
The keynote speaker of the conference, Mastin Kipp, presented on purpose and it really had me thinking deeply.
Why do I wake up at 3:19 am every day? Why do I put in 14 hour training days?
I love what I do. Sure, there are days when I don’t want to wake up that early because I’m tired or just want a day to decompress. Then I step into Adam Clark Fitness and my mindset shifts. The energy, the people, the culture that we’ve created makes those 3:19 am wake up calls more than worth it.
This weekend reaffirmed why I am here. I am here to serve others. I founded Adam Clark Fitness to create an environment that was more than just your regular gym experience. I, or I should say WE, have created a motivating, supportive environment where we sweat together, lift weights together and have fun together. It’s a place that changes lives and my purpose is to positively change lives.
Sometimes it takes a few days away from the business to put things in perspective and I am grateful for this experience and opportunity to reflect.
Thank you to everyone who has made Adam Clark Fitness possible and here’s to continued growth, fun and kick-ass results!
Have a great Sunday!
