Ever struggle with that?
Of course you have.
Being active is super important but so is eating healthy. And specifically eating healthy consistently.
Here are three tips to get into a groove nutritionally:
Track your food. While not a great long-term thing, this is good to evaluate where you are right now. This will help you see how much you’re eating and specifically from what categories. Not enough protein in your diet? Track things and see where you are at.
Meal Prep. If you want to be healthy, you must do some sort of meal prep. I’m not saying meal prep every single meal for the week, but having things prepped ahead of time helps you when you have a busy week. Bulk cook some staples, add some veggies and it is just grabbing and go. Or when you’re hungry you may just end up finding the nearest fast food joint if you didn’t meal prep!
Give yourself time. It takes time to get results. Do things consistently. Don’t switch things up every two weeks. Be consistent and trust the process.
Nutrition is about sustainability. In fact, isn’t that what life is? Don’t do a crash diet. Instead, work on one thing at a time and get into healthier habits.
